Hana Braun was an active member of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign since 1987 and continued to campaign for the cause. She wrote numerous articles on the subject and gave talks to college and university students, trade union branches and other institutions. Weeds Don't Perish was her only book.
She passed away on November 16 2011 at the age of 84, shortly after the release of Weeds don't Perish.
